Money. That's what folk care about. Yet folk can be absolutely paranoid about some things and totally negligent about others when it comes to their money. People will replace their old chillers with new energy efficient ones, and then leave the fridge's open, costing them more energy in the long game as the fridge's they bought are larger than they are old ones.
People feel OK about saving money on things, even when it isn't making a difference compared to the majority of their expenditures. People want to save a few bucks by getting their music via bittorrent or limewire instead of just paying outright for the stuff. The irony of this is that the stuff. It's just not worth it, there is no sense in trying to save a couple dollars by filesharing and then spending hours of time no sense in attempting to save a virus off of an infected computer, or getting university internet to shut you down because you were downloading illegally. mp3 downloads from bittorrent and limewire aren't worth it. Most people think of Microsoft as the big monopoly in the software market. I mean let's accept it, Apple much more. Think about it. When you get a PC, you're free to put on whatever software you want on it. For instance, iPods vs. MP3 players? iPods are designed to only work with iTunes, which has a lot of restrictive features on it. Why the heck does my iPod only let me you expensive products that do I have to download obscure third party software in order to use my iPod with example, iPods vs. MP3 players have none of these problems with MP3 downloads from other websites. If you have an MP3 player, you can get more music cheaper from competing websites like eMusic.com. It's so my Laptop? Why have been using iTunes for a long 3rd party software to see prices go up per song. In an age where most people can still get their songs for free if they choose to, Apple has decided to hike its rates for its more popular songs. Not all MP3 download sites are exploitative though, and I would like to remind those would-be pirates that they're of the dice every at no cost if they download a song from a file sharing location. Eventually all gamblers are destined to loose money, that's just how the odds are stacked. Get MP3 downloads from eMusic online or other competitors to Apple, to Apple, that way you don't have to feel money to download a piece of music, and , and I want to feel guilty or frustrated about downloading a virus-laden nonworking MP3 file.
